Operational
Changelog
Operational transparency. What we shipped on UK Web Marketing, when, and what's on deck next. Reverse-chronological — the freshest work sits at the top, including in-progress and planned entries so this page doubles as a public roadmap.
- On deck
Cyber Essentials + ICO registration
- Cyber Essentials self-assessment package (IASME) — baseline controls already meet most of the questionnaire; the badge itself is the deliverable
- ICO data-protection fee paid + registration number rendered on /compliance and the footer
- Both will move /credentials from "claimed" to "badged" — see the positioning evolution brief
- In progress
Wave E — content cluster + glossary + changelog + meta polish
- Glossary expanded to cover every term the site uses on first mention; cross-links from /clinics, /solicitors, /schools, /accountants, /compliance
- This page — operational transparency, public roadmap, reverse-chronological
- Meta polish sweep: per-page <title>/description audit, JSON-LD coverage, internal-link map
-
Wave D ships — CTO-led systems studio positioning
- Positioning evolution: collapsed messaging to "CTO-led systems studio" — one promise, one founder, one ladder
- Six new pages live: /jordan (founder story), /credentials (proof + receipts), /reviews (case studies), /partners (referral programme), /systems (the engineering side), /managed-website-service (Tier 3 deep-dive)
- Proper help system shipped, /audit grew a 3-tab interface, blog categories now have their own landing pages
-
Wave C ships — illustration system + Cal.com + welcome cron
- 15 custom SVG illustrations added across the blog (no stock photography, ever)
- Walkthrough component live on /start and /portal — first-run guidance instead of a wall of text
- Cal.com integration replaces the old "email us to book" flow
- Welcome-sequence email cron now fires on Stripe checkout completion; Capsule CRM record created in the same transaction
- /pricing gained a sticky CTA on scroll, and an annual prepay SKU now sits beside the monthly tiers
-
Wave B ships (PR #80) — Pagefind search + end-to-end audit
- Pagefind site search shipped — fully static, no third-party search dependency
- Walkthrough component scaffolded (Wave C builds on it)
- 4 new blog SVG illustrations
- Business audits now execute end-to-end (input → score → recommendations → email)
-
Wave A ships (PR #79) — Bing, JSON-LD, Stripe portal, AI markers
- Bing meta verification added, pricing JSON-LD schema corrected
- Footer reverted to v1 layout after feedback; Stripe Customer Portal wired into /portal
- AI-gen marker sweep — every page that uses AI-assisted copy now declares it inline
-
Lite rebuild ships (PR #78) — four tiers, AIDA spine
- Pricing tiers collapsed from 5 muddled tiers to 4 honest ones (£45 / £195 / £495)
- About page rebuilt around an AIDA spine (Attention → Interest → Desire → Action)
- Homepage redesigned to follow the same AIDA flow
- /start onboarding form shipped, /audit got the first proper upgrade
- /help index page and pricing visual hierarchy fix
